Berry College eagle nest

New Berry College eagle nest cam up and running, adults have been seen on the nest!

September 22, 2013 , , , , , , ,

This year Berry college in Georgia has added a nest cam to last year’s distance (from the parking lot) cam, and has moved the distance cam – they call it the “approach” cam closer for a nice wide angle view.  Cam page link is here: http://www.berry.edu/eaglecam/ An adult pair has been seen on the nest and last night an adult slept on the nest!  Screen captures of both events are available at their Facebook page for the eagles which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/berrycollegeeagles Last year was the first year of successful nesting, raising two eaglets to fledge, with hatches in January, so a pretty early nest and it will be exciting to see what happens this year!

This is so exciting and the first time I have ever streamed anything, much less EAGLES! My grandchildren live with me and it is a very educational and exciting occasion for them as well. My daughter introduced the preschool class today and the children were ecstatic. Thank you so much for this opportunity Berry College.

Congratulations to the parents for successfully fledging two eaglets. I know they can do it again and only continue to be successful. Thank you for the update. I always look forward to these. Love them eagles!!!!!!!!
