New Bald Eagle Cam! – Fort Myers Florida – currently Live

North Fort Myers

At least I think it’s new – new to me anyway.  Not too much info available, but the sponsor of the cam says that the eagle pair resides in the nest from October to April and have been returning for 5 years to this nest.  Should be fun to watch! If anyone knows more info, I would love to hear!  Here’s the link: North Fort Myers

  1. Well! We’ll love this and can’t help but think ‘they must be the rich cousins!’ Ha. I mean, are they going to be shaking snow off of themselves while keeping eggs warm? This will be so good!! Thanks for sharing.

      1. LOL! Today I printed 8 pgs. so I could sit and enjoy reading elsewhere, [the] Migration of Florida Sub-Adult Bald Eagles by Elizabeth K. Mojica and others; (The Wilson Journal of Ornithology). It was very informative, as much as it could be, on Bald Eagles in Florida. I got the impression if they only go up as far as Prince Edward Island (one of our [beautiful] ocean side provinces); they were not even as adventurous as D1!! The PPT equipped eagles are so helpful to us; we are spoiled. The Fort Myers Florida eagles are beautiful, I know, and probably don’t know we’d welcome them to migrate here too. I’ll be sure to watch.
