First hatch complete at Minnesota DNR!

A cold day at MN DNR gave us few glimpses, but there is definitely a cute, active fuzzball to see in the nest today! The little one was fondly named “Eggbert” by the cam watchers as they waited for hatching.  I see a possible pip on another egg, but will have to wait and see on that one.  Mom and Dad eagle are also keeping a nice little food tidbit warm in the nest bowl, ready to feed the little one – that’s my theory anyway 😉    Link to cam: http://www.webcams.dnr.state.mn.us/eagle/
