White Rock nest falls from tree – eagles all okay

The Hancock Wildlife Foundation White Rock nest fell from the tree today.  Fortunately the eaglets have fledged and although they have spent time in the nest to eat, etc, their flying skills are great and so it shouldn’t be a problem for them.   Link to cams: http://www.hancockwildlife.org/index.php?topic=White-Rock-Eagle1

  1. That nest had many good years. I’m so thankful Parents, Kilo and Lima were at a stage were they had fledged. That camera had such a beautiful view of the lake too. I hope they will find a great spot for the up coming season. 🙂

  2. Bummer, I was wondering how much longer that old brittle tree would hold up after one of their fav branches broke a couple weeks ago, it was looking a bit worse for wear. Just thankful Kilo and Lima have fledged and the family is safe. ❤

  3. A lot of their nest fell after last year’s season was done. And they rebuilt for this year. We’ll just have to wait and see what they decide to do next…
