New Eaglecam to watch in South Bend Indiana!

The Notre Dame Linked Experimental Ecosystem Facility (ND-LEEF) has installed a webcam to watch an eagle pair in St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend Indiana.  The park is located on the east bank of the St. Joseph River at the Michigan state line.  Link to cam: http://environmentalchange.nd.edu/programs/nd-leef/eagles/

Here is some info from their page:

In the spring of 2015, two bald eagles took over an existing red-tailed hawk nest at the Notre Dame Linked Experimental Ecosystem Facility (ND-LEEF) at St. Patrick’s County Park and fledged one eaglet. Over the past few months, we have observed the birds again building up a nest for the upcoming season. In our region bald eagles typically lay 2 eggs in late February or early March.

Big thanks to Jannice for the heads up on the new cam!
