Sadly, it appears that the first Miles City egg has broken

Last night I reported that the first egg had arrived, and at the time I was watching (about midnight nest time) I saw glimpses of the egg and rolling, shimmy behavior.  A few hours later, there were reports that one of the eagles was seen removing what looked like broken eggshell from the egg cup area.  Since that time they have not resumed incubation, so it appears that sometime in the early hours of the morning, the egg was broken.  Hopefully we’ll see another egg in the next couple of days.    Link to cam: http://53431558b81c6.click2stream.com/

  1. Brought up Harrison Bay eagle cam and only see one baby, did something happen to the other one?
