Looks like we have a hatch in progress at the Alcoa Davenport nest!

I’ve seen lots of reports of a good size pip and did manage to get a screenshot that sure looks like it!  Some folks are thinking that there is already another hatchling in the nest and that this is number two.  I haven’t seen any confirmation of that so far though.  The view is a bit tough this year, as they had some trouble with the cam placement and there is a big branch in the way.  The camera quality is great though, so once little ones are moving around, we should be able to get some good views.   Link to cams: http://www.alcoa.com/locations/usa_davenport/en/info_page/eaglecam.asp

  1. Thanks, wow it’s windy there! Just checked in on the Stewards of Upper Mississippi and it’s scary watching how these nests ride out the wind. Looking forward to seeing these two new cuties.
