On a very soggy day, Mom LaFarge has laid her first egg of the season. I thought it was cute that in the half hour before, she kept looking in the nest bowl every 5 minutes or so while she was in the “egg laying trance” as if to say “is it there yet?” A big congrats to Mom and Dad LaFarge!
